Rickman won't be in the fifth Harry Potter

Alan Rickman, better known as Professor Snape to Harry Potter fans, announced Friday that he will be unable to commit to the next installment of the highly-popular fantasy series due to “scheduling conflicts,” according to his agent, Duncan Heath.In fact, rumor has it that Warner Brothers may have been privy to this information for several weeks, but was withholding it until a replacement was found. While an official announcement is at least a few days off, sources close to WB have Tim Roth, and John Rhys-Davies as leading candidates. Roth had previously been considered for the role prior to the first film, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” but backed out. Rhys-Davies is alleged to have recently hired a personal trainer.
Reportedly, Rickman might be asked to return to the role of Professor Snape in the sixth movie. Warner Brothers is declining all official statements at this time.
